After confirming that your fuel pressure is low, it’s time to determine which part or parts are causing the issue. It can be voltage drop, fuel pump, or any other restrictions.
You can start checking the two important elements (Fuel Pump & Wirings) first. Follow these steps below to determine the fuel pump & wiring condition.
- Step 1: Fill a container with fresh fuel. It can be any fresh container capable of holding liquid.
- Step 2: Detach the fuel pump connected hose pipe from the fuel tank.
- Step 3: Put the hose pipe into the new fuel container.
- Step 4: So, now you have a new fuel source. Start the engine again.
- Step 5: If the fuel pressure reading has improved, then your fuel pump & the wirings are doing their job correctly
